COVID-19 Safety Protocol
As we transition through phases of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are committed to the comfort and safety of our clients and staff. By following the current regulations and added measures to ensure the safety of our immunocompromised clients (e.g., expectant mothers, individuals undergoing chemotherapy, individuals with disabilities, and autoimmune conditions) and those with immunocompromised loved ones, we work to provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. We welcome all guests regardless of vaccination status and ask for your assistance in following our current business practices to help us prevent unnecessary illness or delays that could affect our ability to serve you.
Your Appointment
- Please arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you do arrive early, you are welcome to call us to see if you can come in at that time. Otherwise, please remain outside in your car until 5 minutes or less before your appointment so we can reduce crowding in our waiting area.
- We continue to limit guests of clients (e.g., friends, partners, children, other family members). Adults assisting a minor or individual with a disability scheduled for a service are welcome to wait or accompany the guest (if appropriate). In addition to Covid-19 precautions, this helps to support the spa-like environment of the studio.
In addition to always abiding by the stringent infection and sanitation protocol set forth by the State of Michigan’s Board of Cosmetology, we are also:
- Adding and utilizing hospital-grade cleaners and disinfectants to our cleaning process.
- Sanitizing and disinfecting all high traffic areas and surfaces in common areas between client appointments.
- Utilizing Medify Air Purifiers with medical grade H13 HEPA filters in all rooms and common areas.
Please reschedule your appointment if:
- You, or anyone in your household, are sick or feeling unwell.
- You have been exposed to anyone that is sick or has tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days.
- You, or anyone in your household, are waiting on results of a Covid-19 test.
- You, or anyone in your household, are under advised quarantine due to potential Covid-19 exposure.
Individuals who may need to bring a child to an appointment due to the last-minute cancellation of child care services or other reasons are asked to contact the Spruce Front Desk to discuss options. Rescheduling may be required due to the scheduled service, age of the child, limited availability for supervision, liability, or other factors.
